About Me

I am a principal machine learning researcher and director of modeling for Walmart Exchange (WMX) advertising platform @WalmartLabs.  Prior to that, I was developing a machine learning and data science platform for enterprise at Skytree and
was improving Amazon's product search relevance engine at A9.com.  Before that, I was developing machine learning techniques with the aim of understanding and modeling of precipitation patterns while teaching and mentoring students as an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Purdue University.

I earned a Ph.D. in Information and Computer Sciences from UC Irvine under the supervision of Padhraic Smyth.  I also received postdoctoral training with the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Machine Learning (AICML) at the University of Alberta.
